Sustanon was developed in the 1970’s by Organon, a pharmaceutical company from the Netherlands. They were looking to create a multi-ester blend of testosterone offering immediate and extended release effects. These four esters (propionate, phenylpropionate, isocaproate and decanoate) each have a different half-life so they are absorbed by the body and broken down at different rates. \

This gives you an initial spike in your testosterone levels and then a steady release that helps keep your levels stable. This is more convenient for TRT patients as fewer injections are required.

Side Effects

Sustanon is a fairly well tolerated anabolic steroid due to it’s low estrogenic and androgenic properties. When taken at TRT dosage levels, the risk of side effects is rare. These side effects can be mitigated with proper protocol. Using Nolvadex, Letrozole or Anastrozole will help reduce the risks of estrogenic side-effects.

Dosages & Cycle

Beginners: Start with a low dosage of 250mg per week. This will give your body time to get acclimatized and for you to monitor how you respond. Inject once per week. Cycle length 8 to 10 weeks.

Intermediate Users: 500mg to 750mg per week. Split into two injections per week to keep the higher levels stable. Cycle length 10 to 12 weeks.

Advanced Users: 1000mg per week or more should only be attempted by experienced steroid users who are familiar with how their body responds to Sustanon and other steroids. Dosages at this level significantly increase the potential for side effects and require proper mitigation protocols. Cycle length 12 to 16 weeks.

Post Cycle Therapy

You will want to start your PCT two weeks after your last Sustanon injection to ensure most of it has cleared your body. For the first two weeks take 40mg daily of Nolvadex, reducing to 20mg daily for the third and fourth week of PCT.

Stacking Sustanon
